How do I love thee. Ever since Dukin Donuts pulled out from Singapore, we Singaporean are deprived of these fattening sinful sweets. I used to have my dose of donuts when I have to go Jakarta frequently due to work requirement. It became a habit for me to always have a chocolate peanut butter filled donuts with a cuppa coffee at the Soekarno Hatta Airport.
I missed donuts even more when I left my job then and I don;t travel that much.

Until recent trip to Krabi... I had my donuts again after so many years. It didnt taste quite as good as I remember them and they no longer have my favorite flavor Choc Peanut butter.
Few months after my trip to Krabi, I got to know about Donut Factory, but the line for the queue was incredibly long. Average you would have to queue for 2 - 5hrs. Everbody says, the queue will go away when the craze is over like the rotiboy, bubble tea. Nope, the queue is still long after 6 months. My sis manage to have her colleague que at their new branch at Suntec and brought back a box. I finally had my chance to bite into one of these soft fluffy donuts.
They taste just as I remember it to be. I am addicted and couldn't stop thinking about them.

Finally, I brave the queue and foolishly queue 1hr 15mins for 2 dozens of them. I don't mind being foolish for what I like and I even share the spoils of my foolishness with my family.
Humming the song I learn in children's church as I eat "Life without Jesus is like a donut, like a donut, like a donut with a hole in the heart...." Well, I am happy with Jesus in my heart and donut in my hand.
