I had been using other cosmetic and skincare for years. I decide to shop for something new to try. I prefer skincare that uses natural botanical ingredients. I am such a believer of aromatherapy and the healing properties of essential oil. The 1st Clarins counter I visited was the one at Tangs Beauty Hall. I can say that it has been a long time since I had been shown what good customer service was. The SA at Clarins spend her time to talk me through the different products and is generous to give me a few samples to try. I start with buying a cleanser and a moisturiser from Clarins and armed myself with a couple of samples to venture with. I had extra sample so I gave a day moisturise to my sister for her to try since she is also looking to switch brand and looking for a suitable product. I brought her along to Clarins and she convert. Even my other sister who tag along purchased a few items. It is the type of service and product knowlege that impresses us.
Due to the location of Tangs which is not convenient for me, I decide to check out the Clarins counter at Robinson Raffles City, oh my, am I pleased to know that the service is just as good. I am quite a picky customer to begin with. Not many passes my standard of good service. Even the administrative staff right to the Marketing manager has show remarkable customer orientated services. I bought an item which is faulty by it's make. I wrote to ask if it is still exchangeable since I had already used the item and had also pass the usual grace period. I bought the item and had left it un-used till about 2 wks later. I offered to bring the item down to the counter for the SA to do an inspection of the product. The Marketing Manager called me after receiving my email apologising for the inconvenience it has caused me. She left word with the staff to expect me when I go down to change the item.
To be fair, I will continue to review the good service of few other good mannered SA of various cosmetic brand.
