Nan Ten Japanese Restaurant

It was the 3rd time I visited this restaurant but it is the 2nd time I ate here. 1st time I came here was with a group of colleagues celebrating one of the birthday. The 2nd time we came, we were a bit late and the place was packed and we have to decide to eat at Lau Pa Sat instead. I had the Cold Ramen previously and it was really good except that it doesn't have jellyfish in it like the one Nanto use to have.

Today I went there again with my colleague and we both ordered the Ramen set which is a Tonkotsu Ramen with Fried Ebi on curry rice. Tonkotsu is the soup base using pork bones. It is biled till the soup is in a cream colour with the rich and delicous taste. Serve with a few think slices of pork and a hard boiled egg with jellied like egg york. The curry was the spicier Japanese curry an it taste much better than alot of other Japanese curry I had before. I am begining to consider this one of my fave Japanese restaurant. The Prawn is fried in the katsu style and not tempura way. After having the Ramen, I don;t feel thirsty at all, it shows that they did not use MSG in the soup. That is what I call authentic Tonkotsu soup. Unlike those I had in places like Ajisen, I have to down with glasses of water after the meal and feel bloated.

I will highly recommend this place.
