Day 4

I've diligently done my 3 days worth of 30mins exercise. I am still pushing on. I had not been that well the past 2 days and today, I am under the flu spell with a terrible headache.

I had to perservere, can't stop what I had begin with just becoz of some flu bug. I try to look for a recent photo that will most reflect my current state of fatness. I found it... My sister took this for me at the worst ever angle, she lower the camera instead of at eye level. Did I mention she had no sense of where the camera should be angled to produce the best pix? Oh well, she is sure to produce the worst looking one. I am standing tall infront of her lowered down camera and tilt upwards towards me. My face is horribly puff up like I am having some food allergy. Ok...ok.... I'll only going to post the body. NOT THE FACE!!! Here I go.... hopefully this will be part of my memory and in "history". Oh... I had not mentioned about my weight. hehehe, it is quite as taboo as asking a person's age. Just to keep this as part of my record... I am 72kgs 3 days ago and drop 0.5kg and now weighing 71.5kgs. At this rate... I hope to reach 69 kgs by end of this month.

Do note that your first 4-5kg is just water loss. It won't be obvious but maybe your clothes can tell a little difference.

and DON'T. DO NOT WORK OUT or diet when you're sick. When you're sick, eat normally and drink more water. Even I eat carbs when I'm sick. Your body has to recover first.

I'm a carb person!!! I guess tat's where my weight comes from. I love love pastry... cheesecake, buns, rolls. Wch low carb diet u r on? Atkins? I heard it is for short term only. Any gd books to recommend?

Are there OTHER low carb diets? I thought it was only Atkins. Yes, we're on a modified Atkins. Suited to our local menu. And yes, you're right, COMPLETE NO CARB *which I did to lose my first 16kg* can only be done on 3 month spurts with a carb holiday before the next 3 month spurts.

I'm not on complete carb free, I'm on a low carb regime. I suppose you can read up more at Atkins.com but how to modify it to suit us locally is slightly different bc Atkins was made for the Ang Mo in cold countries.

I dun u/std why i get flu so frequently whenever I start my weightloss goal. Prev i was on alt day salad for lunch diet and 2 wks into the diet, I'll be sick. This time sooner, 3 days only. I am eating my normal food, just lesser rice. I heard so much abt no carbs diet sure can lose weight but how long can it last on card addict? I need to try modification too. U did it well. Gd fer ya. When my stamina gets better, I may consider taking some dance classes. I love to dance and had not dance for ages. Saw the latino thing video u post, looks fun.

I think for you. You have to get into the proper mental state before you embark on anything.

If you are convinced that you will die without carbs as you are a carb lover. Then a low carb diet will NOT WORK for u, no matter how effective it is, and you should look into alternate food modifications that you can do on a long term.

Yup, still contemplating abt low carbs. I will need to read up more. The oth low carbs is south beach diet but it seems very confusing and not easy to follow. I had been trying to lose weight all my life. This time, I am serious. If fail... hahaha, damn lau kui.(embarass)

Don't even bother about South Beach. Its too bothersome to consider doing that method. Too many rules.
